STATUS (as of May 30th):  The Green Dragons Program is now FULL!!    We hope you are able to join one of our programs next year.

As we have received funding from the "OPS Diversity Office", the cost is ONLY $20 per person which includes three races at the regatta, plus 4 one-hour on-water practices in our dragon boat!  No experience is necessary.

The club will form the "Green Dragons" from everyone who registers as an "individual" registrant.

Please note that one of our primary objectives of running this regatta is to introduce people who have never paddled before to the world of dragon boating.

ANYONE is welcome to register and get some quick dragon boat lessons.   Friends, family, and co-workers are encouraged to participate in this regatta!

Experienced paddlers can also join as individuals, and we will slot you into this team or one of the others.

Individuals will also have the option of pre-purchasing BBQ lunch items and ferry tickets (at cost).

The practices are scheduled for Thursdays (June 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th) and will be held 6:45-8:00pm.

See the Practice Site page for more practice site info.

We have created a team called the "Green Dragons" just for you!   The team will be made of individuals who want to practice for 4 short weeks to learn the basics of dragon boat paddling, then race in our fun Canada Day regatta.

Anyone is welcome to join this team, and NO experience is necessary.
Dragon boating is the world's fastest growing water sport, and our club specializes in introducing new paddlers to the sport.  The teams will be made up of 20 paddlers (men and women).  Anyone can participate in this sport!
