WELCOME TO THE HOME PAGE OF THE OPS CIVIL DRAGONS!
2009 is the eighth season for the OPS Civil Dragons.  The Civil Dragons is a competitive team that consists of a diverse group of men and women.  We are committed to the sport, practising on the water twice a week, while working out and developing our personal fitness on our own time aside from our team paddling.

Being part of the Civil Dragons team is an ultimate exercise in teamwork.  On the water, we are a disciplined, focused and motivated team, which strives hard to improve with every practice.  Off the water, we have social and team building events.  We believe that to paddle together as a team, we have to become as one, as well as, fulfill our individual roles on this team.  As a team, winning is only a bonus incentive to our main goal: constant progress and improvement.

We welcome new and experienced paddlers whether you work in the Ontario Public Service or not.
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide a rich, stimulating and safe environment, second to none, that enables each team member to represent the sport of dragon boating and promote its growth and ideals to the best of our ability, demonstrating the OPS commitment to all endeavors.  We will compete successfully.  As team mates we respect each other, care for one another and support each persons athletic pursuits and personal lives because first and foremost we are a team!
